Committee history:

The Emergency Security Council is a committee created in order to maintain  peace and security around  the world and  to deal with crisis that threaten international security. The Committee is conformed by, five permanent members, ten non-permanent members, and ten guests. Unlike the other committees, which give their topic from the beginning, the topic of this committee is kept confidential until the first day of the model, this means that the position papers will be made at that time, therefore this committee will test your ability to work under pressure, and to make a good and complete research.
