The International Olympic Committee goes far beyond the organization of the Olympic Games. The education of youth over sport, the creation of sport programmes and projects, the canalisation between National Olympic Committees and international federations, the collaboration with the United Nations to build a better world through sport among others are the labours the IOC seeks.

Topic: Athlete Trade with the Purpose of Representing Distinct Countries at International Competitions.

This year, the IOC will discuss the athlete trade with the purpose of representing distinct countries at international competitions.
While some athletes search for better opportunities outside their countries, others want more success, economic resources or easier competitions. At the same time, certain countries take advantage of this to persuade athletes  to compete for their delegations. 
It is necessary to reach a solution in order to save the essence of the international sport competitions, preserve the Olympic community’s values and the promotion of sports all around the world.
